Telephone System
The practice have had different quotes from telephone companies regarding a new telephone system. At present we are awaiting confirmation from the Health Board regarding funding. This could take us into the end of June / beginning of July before the phone system can be put into place. We will keep you informed of progress.
Absence
The practice apologises for any delay’s experienced at the front desk recently. We have had a lot of staff absence and have been coping with minimum manpower. This should be resolved in the very near future. We thank you for your patience.
Docman
The practice has got a new system in for going paper light. This enables all hospital letters and correspondance to be scanned directly into a patient's electronic case record. Despite initial teething problems the doctors and staff are endeavouring to get this working with the minimum of disruption.
Protected Learning Afternoons
These sessions are run by Lanarkshire Health Board to provide further education for GPs and practice staff.
As a result, the practice will close at 1pm on the following Wednesday afternoons:
