New Phone System
We have had several enquiries regarding the cost of phoning the new practice telephone number of 0845 6122444. We wish to assure our patients that these calls are charged at a LOCAL RATE which is no different to the old 01355 number. Calls from mobile phones may vary depending on your tariff. The practice does NOT make any profit from the new number. The number was introduced in response to our patient questionnaire as a result of discontent with the old system, and despite some initial teething problems we have had a lot of positive feedback.
New Room
We are happy to announce that the building work has now finished and we have opened our new consulting room for daily use. This is located at the far end of the corridor opposite Dr Geddes’ room and will be mainly used by Dr Bennett and Dr McCready.
Protected Learning Dates
The practice is closed for teaching purposes on the following Wednesdays from 1pm to 6pm. NHS 24 will provide emergency medical services during this period.

Antenatal Clinic
Increasingly in General Practice antenatal clinics are being taken over by the midwives. If you are pregnant please make an appointment with the antenatal clinic through the reception desk. Your care will be taken over by our midwife Diane after your first meeting with the GP.
Carers
If you are a carer for a relative or friend and finding it difficult to cope please do not hesitate to contact the practice. You may be entitled to benefits and we have various support contacts who may be able to help you.
