NEW TELEPHONE NUMBER
Our Practice phone number has now changed to 01355 578050. We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused to patients. Due to the patient questionnaires it was felt that the 0845 612 2444 number would have been a benefit but unfortunately this was not the case. We have now changed our telephone company enabling us to revert back to a 01355 number which hopefully will be a lot better for patients. The new company is also able to provide us with many of the same benefits as we had with 0845 number such as the menu options and queuing system.
MATERNITY LEAVE AND LOCUM
Dr Bennett is returning on Monday 1st March 2010 from maternity leave. Dr Browning will be leaving us on Friday 26 February 2010. She has been a great asset to the Practice and we wish her well and thank her for all her hard work.
SMOKING CESSATION
Patients wishing to stop smoking can contact NHS Lanarkshire Stop Smoking Service on 0845 17 77 07 or text 'Advice' to 81066 and they will give you more details on where the nearest centre is for you to attend.

PROTECTED LEARNING
The surgery will be closed from 1pm on Wednesday 24th February and Wednesday 24th March 2010. Service will be provided by NHS24.
PRESCRIPTIONS
The practice is trying to align repeat prescriptions to avoid over ordering and wastage. If patients find that some of their medication is running short during the month before the rest of their medication could they please speak to a member of staff and we will get this sorted out. The Health Board has highlighted this problem due to the amount of wastage and money spent on prescribing. We appreciated your help and assistance with regards this.
